This course has given me the opportunity to have a clear understanding of the meaning of an action research. The way I define action research is a process for success. It begins when you as a teacher or an administrator starts to wonder on how you can improve in a specific area, then you start reflecting on what you have been wondering about, and come up with a plan on how you are going to research this process. Throughout this action research you find out that it is a learning process, that you grow as a leader and become more aware that success can happen at your school, all we have to do is take some time and reflect on the problem and try to find different ways that it can be solved.
As a teacher I am very pleased that I will have the opportunity of doing action research myself. I will be able to reflect on a situation that needs attention at my campus and formulate action strategies to improve the situation or resolve the problem. At the end of this action research I will be able to evaluate the effectiveness of this process. I am very excited to be part of this process!
