Reflection on Research Course- Week 2

This has been a very informative week. I really enjoyed watching the videos of this week of Dr.Johnny Briseno, Dr.Timothy Chargois, and Dr.Kirk Lewis. They were able to give us suggestions of how to conduct action research. I also had the opportunity to read one of Dana's chapters, that dealt with action research topics in school setting and wonderings of each one of them. By reading information of each of those topics I was able to reflect that some of them I can already use as a teacher and others I knew that when I become an administrator I would be using them with my staff. This week I also had the opportunity to meet with my principal and assistant principal to discuss some topics of interest that I have for action research, and they were able to give me great feedback. This week I feel like I have grown as an educator and I'm looking forward for the rest of the courses that I will be taking because I know that at the end of this journey I will be ready to be a great administrator.
